Solidworks Model

Here I've selected and traced the eye out of one of the "godheads" in Alex Gray's "Net of Being". It was hard to get the hang of Solidworks to begin with, sketching seemed to be tempermental until I realised making many arcs and lines and joining them was far easier than trying to form one continuous line.



After this was done, it was a simple task of extruding into a 3-dimensional form. Well, it should have been simple, but sometimes there's just a teeeeny tiiiiiny gap somewhere in the sketch, and you can spend hours looking for why your lines aren't "fully defined". But I got there in the end:




Now just to get it into 3DS Max!
